there's a little pocket of showers and thunderstorms up in baltimore and northern sections of baltimore county. that's been a bit of a hotspot this evening. they keep forming storm after storm up there. we have been dry in town. you can see around charlottesville some pretty good rain. this is moving north of 64 now. parts of culpeper county are beginning to get in on the act and again this rain will continue to move up and through. it's not in the metro area now, but i suspect as it holds together, it will at least bring a few showers through here 1:00, 2:00 in the morning. 79 degrees now, 75 for gaithersburg, 82 for quantico. dew points are extremely high and here in town it just jumped up to 74 degrees. 76 for fredericksburg and culpeper the dew point is 75. what we're dealing with here, remnants of isaac and we're still east of what is left of isaac, so we continue with this unsettled pattern, showers, thunderstorms, muggy conditions lingering. it does look like we'll be a little bit drier as we start getting into thursday and friday before more showers and thunderstorms come back i
